Our Assessment Process
Experienced Clinicians
We are a team of highly skilled and experienced clinicians with experience of over 1000 assessments within our core team. We have the capacity to complete specialist Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychology assessments.
Assessment Process
Assessments are framed by NICE guidelines. We offer a thorough assessment process by gathering information from school, home and work. We use gold standard assessment tools including the AQ, ADIr and ADOS; the focus is on developmental difficulties and observations of challenges relating to both historic and current behaviours and skills.
Concluding Assessment
We discuss information gathered as part of a full multidisciplinary team and compare information against the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Fifth Edition (DSM-5) criteria, with consideration of the differential diagnoses. Outcomes are shared with adult/child, parents and school where appropriate.
